Capscan Shows Companies How to Deliver ROI With Contact Data Quality Management At The Data Marketing Show 2010

Thursday, July 01, 2010

29th and 30th June, Grand Hall Olympia, London

Capscan, a leading supplier of UK and international address management solutions and data integrity services, today announced that it will be holding an educational contact data quality management seminar at the Data Marketing Show, 29th and 30th June. Delegates attending the seminar will discover what steps businesses can take to improve data quality across the organisation, to increase operational efficiency, encourage business growth and deliver Return on Investment (ROI).

On stand B422, the company will also exhibit its range of award-winning technologies and services that are integral to a successful data quality management strategy such as its range of Matchcode addressing software, including the new International version of Matchcode for Microsoft DynamicsTM CRM.

The seminar entitled ‘Addressing Data Quality’ will take place on Wednesday 30th June at 3.20pm. It will consider the negative and often-costly impact incorrect data has on both customers and prospect relations for businesses, when used in online and direct marketing campaigns.

Sales Director at Capscan, David Mead, will lead the seminar’s discussion on enterprise-wide contact data quality, with a best practice focus on how leading Internet-based people finder search engine, Tracesmart, benefited from a tangible return on investment to the business. Delegates will learn how Tracesmart has integrated data quality management processes and technology to ensure its primary objective of returning the most accurate information to its customers in the fastest time possible. The case study will also highlight how a business, where data is crucial to the operational efficiency of the whole business, was able to switch from a resource-hungry proprietary system to Capscan’s Matchcode Batch processing tool, without compromising on data quality.

Mead comments, “Customer contact data quality is a small but crucial part of an overall data quality management strategy. There are lots of options for businesses of any size in terms of technology and operational processes, but it is the wider view that needs to be taken across the organisation if a strategy is to be successful. Identifying who is responsible for customer data quality, getting management buy-in and agreeing targets are all essential to realising ROI and efficiencies from good data.”

Delegates attending Capscan’s seminar will:

Learn how the quality of contact data can affect different areas of the business Understand the damage that poor contact data quality can have on a business Learn what steps can be taken to improve data quality management processes including the technology that can used Learn how good data quality management can help businesses become more green and prevent fraud

Capscan will also be demonstrating its award-winning range of Matchcode software at the show, including a free health check of their own customer data for up to 2,000 records to help visitors achieve a better understanding of the rate of data decay and the hygiene levels that exist in their own databases. There will also be a prize draw to win an iPad on the Capscan stand, as well as copies of the company’s latest data quality whitepaper.

The seminar, ‘Addressing Data Quality’, will take place in the Presentation Arena at 3.20pm on Wednesday 30th June 2010. For more information about the Data Marketing Show 2009 and to register for free attendance, please visit: www.datamarketingshow.co.uk.
